This is The Number Three speaking. I am playing the role of one of THE SEEN SISTERS in Mrs Noughtfear's Number Story as one of The EE's in QUEENSLAND. Did you check Mister Numbers method of teaching The Seven Times Table? I wonder if he does it better than Number Seven?
Now have a look as Mister Numbers creates The Three Times Table in Three Seconds. Too quick? Why not spend Three Minutes to Tip Toe Though The Tulips with Three? When you can Tickle Tackle Toe with Mister Numbers in Three Seconds, see how fast you can Tip Toe Through The Tulips.
Let's move onto Four, Five and Six times Three. Cover that pesky Four and Seven with your left hand and touch The Number One with one finger on your right hand as you use another finger to tickle Two, Five and Eight. Say Twelve, Fifteen, Eighteen. That's Four, Five and Six times Three in one second.
Let's move onto Seven, Eight and Nine times Three. Now cover that pesky Five and Eight with your right hand and touch Two with your left hand as you tickle One, Four and Seven. Say Twenty one, Twenty Four, Twenty Seven. That's Seven, Eight and Nine times Three in one second.
Did you notice the first answers are lined down the right side, and the next lot combined with the One are lined down the middle, and the next lot combined with the Two are lined down the left?
Most teachers know 3 x 3 = 9, and 3 x 33 = 99. Now it is time to teach your teacher a lesson. Ask what does 33 x 33 equal? If she doesn't know, it is up to you to be a Teacher Number Teacher and tell her all about The Number Ten Eighty Nine. You may be surprised to discover that many teachers do not know that 33 x 33 = 1089, yet just as 3 x 3 = 9, it is very important to know that 33 x 33 = 1089.
The Three is very special because I am the Square Root of Nine. That means if a Three multiplies with another Three, the answer will be Nine. We are also close to The Six because if a Three adds itself to another Three, the answer will be Six.
